QUALITY AND STRENGTH	Leisure Pools Bulgaria are manufactured in South Africa, where fibreglass pools have been enjoyed for over 30 years now. Unlike traditional poured concrete or liner pools, a fibreglass swimming pool is a prefabricated shell that is set in an excavated site. The inside of the fibreglass is sealed to produce a non porous, smooth surface. GRP’s (glass re-inforced plastic’s) seamless construction withstands extreme environmental changes and its flexibility makes fibreglass pools 17 times stronger than concrete pools.

ENDURING DURABILITY	Our factory manufactured fibreglass pools are pre-formed and should never crack or leak and are also earthquake resistant. The material flexes with the ground and will not split from pressure inconsistencies or be damaged by ground frost. It is however still necessary to winterize your pool to protect the equipment from Europe's cold winters. The chance of our fibreglass pools fading or discolouring is negligible as Leisure Pools SA only use the highest quality gelcoat (approved by Lloyds and the SABS). And, as all mosaics and tiles are impregnated in the fibreglass, there’s nothing to break or fall off. A fibreglass pool will never require resurfacing or liner replacement, no acid washing or sandblasting – it will never need to be drained. In fact, to ensure even pressure from outside and within its walls, the swimming pool should never be emptied. The oldest moulded fibreglass pool on record in South Africa is sited in Cape Town. It is more than 26 years old, and is still in excellent condition.

EASY MAINTENANCE	Compared to concrete or gunite pools, fibreglass pools require up to 70% less chemical treatment and only need water filtration for a few hours a day instead of 8-10 hours. The smooth surface of a fibreglass pool means it is child’s play to clean. There are no seams or crevices in the walls or floors in which dust or debris can be lodged, making routine services a quick and effortless operation. The non-porous surface of a fibreglass pool does not affect the chemistry of the water, as it does not interact with it, thereby minimising algae infestation and avoiding permanent stains. And, as the tile band is an integral part of the fibreglass finish, the mosaic tile never requires any scrubbing. In addition, every one of our pools is supplied with a Kreepy Krawly - the worlds original Automatic Pool Cleaner - it works when your pool pump works, using your pools existing filtration system.

SAFE AND HYGIENIC	A smooth surface of non-abrasive material means no bleeding toes, fingers, or worn bathing suits! A non-slip finish, introduced at the factory manufacturing stage, minimises the danger of skidding or sliding on a glass fibre pool. The non-porous surface of a fibreglass pool dramatically reduces the risk of bacterial build-up and because you use less chemicals it’s great for people who are allergic to chlorine.

SALT CHLORINATION	Electrolytic chlorine generation uses regular salt to produce all the chlorine your pool needs- automatically. We recommend salt chlorination for a number of reasons - lower maintenance costs; minimal effort; a lower freezing point of water, softer water and no skin irritation.
